Wheel Balancing
If your wheels are not balanced correctly you may experience vibrations
in the steering wheel, seat, or floor, particularly at higher speeds
on dual carriageways and motorways. You may also suffer unnecessary and
inconsistent tyre wear. Wheel balancing is relatively cheap and can save
you money in the long term by increasing tyre life.
Tracking
Tracking is more correctly known as
'wheel alignment'. If
your wheels are not aligned correctly you may experience one or more
of the following: uneven or rapid tyre wear, drifting away from a straight
line, or a steering wheel that is not at the 12 o'clock position when
you are driving in a straight line. Tracking, like wheel balancing,
is relatively cheap and can save you money in the long term by increasing
tyre life.
